The chicken coop project was completed in November of 2022 for our first flock of layers:  2 Bielefelder roosters, 5 Bielefelder hens, and 4 Pearl White Leghorn hens.

The chicken yard was completed in July of 2023.  We have a few finishing touches left but the flock is enjoying their new found freedom in the meantime.

The buck turnout is finished.  The boys really like this area and have enjoyed their time on the porch under the giant shade tree.  work on buck turnout 2 starts soon!

We have new bucks coming!  Which means we need more buck space.  We're currently working on adding a stall and turnout to one of our pole barns...aka the Little Buck Barn.

Our 2 Red Wattles enjoyed their summer in the pig ark.  Their enclosure provided safety and shelter so they could enjoy their wallow and pool and spend their time eating lots of food and apples under their shade trees.

In the summer 2023 we updated our barn; adding a large common stall with 2 kidding stalls on the south side, 2 additional stalls and storage on the north side, an updated horse stall on the north side, and an updated aisle way with a milk stand for 6 does.

The doe turnout was completed in July of 2023 and includes the A-frame structure they love to play on.
